Luretail

Where to find Luretail
Luretail never sets foot on land. The only water it surfaces in is The Shores, shared with 124 other species, and the only way to bring one up is a rod you forged yourself. Walk the shoreline until the water moves.
How to catch Luretail
Luretail sits in the rare band with 171 others, needs a Precision ball at minimum, and opens at 17%, which leaves 254 of the 608 harder to land than this one. The freeze on the first throw makes it a race: The Shores holds 125 species, so the area is rarely empty when you find one.
Supply
The cap on Luretail is 350, tighter than 294 of the 608 species and looser than 297, and finite either way: the ceilings together come to 407,200 creatures for the whole world, forever.
In a fight
As one of 116 water types sharing The Shores, it hits Fire hard and loses ground to Nature, Thunder, Celestial, which is what will be thrown at it. It leans hard on focus: 119 against 70 for its next best, a gap of 49 that decides how it wants to be played.

Questions
Where do I find Luretail in NOKEMON?
The Shores. It never comes on land, so you need a forged rod rather than a ball. The door is gated: you need average skill level 20 to get in.
How do I catch Luretail?
Throw a Precision ball or better and win the timing bar. The base rate is 17% and your accuracy moves it, but the ball is spent whether you land the catch or not, so carry more than you think you need.
Is Luretail rare?
Not by the standards of this world: the cap is 350. It is still a ceiling though, and once it fills the species stops spawning for everyone.
What are the shiny odds on Luretail?
About 1 in 143 per capture. Nothing improves it: no ball, no streak, no item and no amount of waiting. The only lever you have is how many you throw at.
